Rescue agencies deploy near Kangan after a Srinagar youth went missing during a bath.
Srinagar : An 18-year-old youth drowned on Friday while bathing in the Nallah Sindh stream near Dumping Park in the Kijpara area of Kangan, located in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Officials identified the youth as Danish, a resident of Rangpora Soura, Srinagar. Following the incident, local police, neighborhood residents, and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) mobilized a coordinated search operation to trace the victim. Official investigations into the accident remain active.
