Police launch inquiry following the recovery of a deceased man at Dughwan.
Srinagar : Local authorities recovered the body of a 42-year-old man early Friday morning in the Dughwan forest sector on the outskirts of Srinagar.
Reports said that emergency responders initially moved the individual to PHC Harwan, where medical staff declared him brought dead. The body was subsequently transferred to SMHS Hospital for a detailed post-mortem examination. Officials identified the deceased as Mohammad Lateef, son of Mohammad Aalam and a native of Thugla village in Rajouri district. Police have opened a formal inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death.
