Srinagar, Aug 21: The body of a 42-year-old man was recovered from the Dughwan forest area on the outskirts of Srinagar early Friday morning, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man’s body was found in the Dughwan forest area and was taken to PHC Harwan, where doctors declared him brought dead.
He said the body was later shifted to SMHS Hospital for further medical examination. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Lateef (42), son of Mohammad Aalam, a resident of Thugla in Rajouri district.
Meanwhile, an investigation has been initiated and further proceedings in the matter are underway.—(KNO)
