Jammu : Jammu Development Authority sealed a Blinkit store operating from the basement of Surya Towers at Bahu Plaza for allegedly functioning in violation of sanctioned building permission and applicable norms.
The building also houses Aakash Coaching Centre, which is attended by a large number of students. JDA said the action was taken as a preventive and regulatory measure in view of concerns related to public and fire safety.
The Authority reiterated that commercial activities in violation of sanctioned building plans and building bye-laws would invite strict action and said inspections would continue to ensure public safety.
