45-Year-Old Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision Near Kangan

Kangan : A 45-year-old woman died from critical injuries following a head-on collision between a Mahindra Scorpio SUV and a Tata Mobile commercial vehicle near the Akhal area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Eyewitnesses and officials said that the impact left the victim severely injured at the scene. She was immediately evacuated by locals to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan for emergency treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead. Police officials later identified the deceased as Naseema Begum, wife of Nazir Ahmad Ahanger, residing in Akhal, Kangan. Law enforcement agencies have registered a case regarding the collision and launched an investigation.
