Srinagar : The United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar to discuss bilateral relations. Abdullah expressed optimism about expanding cooperation in tourism, horticulture, and the new economy. Ambassador Gor noted the region’s strong appeal for US visitors and agreed to explore avenues to promote travel. The US delegation included senior advisors and diplomatic staff, while J&K representatives included Cabinet Minister Sakeena Itoo, Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Gurwinder Singh Oberoi, and MLA Tanvir Sadiq.
