Ramban : Deputy Commissioners of Udhampur and Ramban, along with senior officers, visited the Sawalkote Hydroelectric Project headquarters at Tanger to assess progress on the 1,800 MW utility.
Head of Project Satnam Singh briefed the delegation on construction status, key infrastructure, access tunnels, and regulatory milestones, including expected PIB and CCEA approvals.
The delegation viewed a presentation detailing project capacity, tunnel work, submergence area, and Social Impact Assessment developments, assuring full support for the project’s progress.
