Farmers Urged to Complete AgriStack Registration in Bandipora
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegramEmail

Bandipora : The District Administration Bandipora has urged all farmers to approach and attend Revenue Camps being organised in their respective villages and complete registration under AgriStack for generation of the unique Farmers ID.

The camps have already been conducted at various locations and will continue to be organised to ensure that every eligible farmer is informed and facilitated to complete the registration process.

The initiative will create a comprehensive digital database of farmers to facilitate seamless access to agriculture-related benefits, including Direct Benefit Transfer, crop insurance, soil health cards and institutional credit.

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, has personally visited and reviewed several Farmer ID registration camps, taking stock of the awareness, mobilisation and registration arrangements. She had emphasised sustained field-level outreach and effective dissemination of information so that no eligible farmer remains unregistered due to lack of awareness.

All eligible farmers are requested to attend the camps in their respective areas and carry their required particulars for registration.

Meanwhile, Revenue officials and field staff have been directed to expedite the exercise, ensure proper verification and maintain data quality. Special assistance has been advised for elderly and marginal farmers.

The District Administration has called for continuous awareness and mobilisation at the grassroots level to ensure that the message reaches every eligible farmer and that no farmer is left out of Farmer ID generation for want of information.
