Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) at Dak Bungalow to discuss the issuance and regulation of district transport permits. The meeting was attended by SSP Gaurav Sikarwar, DySP Traffic Ajaz Ahmed, and ARTO Ashiq Rafiq Malik.
The ARTO placed 25 applications for four-wheeler autos, 10 for six-tyre mini-buses, route permit changes, and three applications under the MUMKIN Scheme. The Authority approved applications targeting interior and underserved routes to enhance public transport connectivity, create youth employment, and curb vehicle overloading.
