GDC Katra Hosts Entrepreneurship Program Under Udyam Jagriti 5.0

Reasi  : Government Degree College Katra, in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India and the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Reasi, organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme and Implementation Udyam Jagriti 5.0.

The programme began with a formal welcome address by Dr. Sajaad Iqbal Khan, In-Charge and IIC Coordinator, Government Degree College Katra.

Principal of the college Dr. Rajni Bhagat shared her views on emerging opportunities in entrepreneurship and highlighted the government schemes available for aspiring Entrepreneurs. Experts from the Ministry of MSME and the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Reasi, provided students with detailed information and hands-on training regarding new schemes launched by the Government of India and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

The officials from the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Reasi, also explained the implementation of Udyam Jagriti 5.0 and its role in promoting entrepreneurship and employment opportunities among young people. Moreover, the officials from the District Employment and Counselling Centre shared detailed information regarding participation of students in four best ideas of unique Entrepreneurship under Udyam Jagriti 5.0.

Students actively participated in the programme and gained valuable knowledge about the government schemes, entrepreneurial opportunities and the procedures for availing themselves of these benefits. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Nasar Ahmed, Mission Yuva Coordinator.
