Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour
Jammu : Government High School Ranthal celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with significant enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, involving students, teachers, parents, staff, and local community members.
P. Sharma, a retired lecturer and former Sarpanch was the Chief Guest and Shabir Ahmed Bhatti, the Headmaster, conducted the proceedings alongside stage secretaries Sh. Neeraj Bhaskar and Dr. Dushyant Pradeep. The celebration began with a flag hoisting ceremony and the National Anthem, fostering a sense of national pride. Students showcased their discipline through a march past, followed by a cultural program that included patriotic songs, dances, and speeches, emphasizing themes of freedom, unity, and national integrity. Notably, students from Mother Land Public School participated, enhancing the spirit of collaboration among local educational institutions. Recognition was given to students for their active participation and to teachers for their contributions to academic success, reinforcing the school’s commitment to excellence and holistic development. Chief Guest O. P. Sharma delivered an inspiring address, urging the younger generation to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and to engage in nation-building through discipline and hard work. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks from the Headmaster.
