Srinagar, Aug 15: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
In his message, LG Manoj Sinha said “Heartiest greetings to all on the joyous occasion of Independence Day.”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended warm greetings to the people of J&K and the nation.
He reaffirmed his commitment to democracy, unity, peace and progress, and to building a stronger and more prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
“May the spirit of freedom continue to inspire hope and a brighter future for all,” the CM said.
