Pulwama, Aug 14: A 65-year-old man died after being hit by an unidentified truck in the Wuyan Khrew area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was hit by an unidentified truck in Khrew, Pampore, leaving him critically injured. He was initially shifted to a local hospital and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.
The official said the man later succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar hospital. He was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Bha (65), son of Sana Ullah, a resident of Wuyan Khrew.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.—(KNO)
