Anantnag , Aug 13:Two teenagers were killed and two others injured after lightning struck them at Gawran Nard in Larnoo Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday
Officials told GNS that the incident occurred at Gawran Nard in Larnoo Tehsil
The deceased have been identified as Faizan Ahmad, 18, son of Mohd Yaqoob Chard, resident of Gawran, Bilal Ahmad Battan, 16, son of Nazir Ahmad, resident of Redwani Gawran
The injured were identified as Sajad Ahmad Battana, 15, son of Sai Battana, resident of Redwani Gawran Shareef Ahmad Battana, son of Jumma, resident of Redwani Gawran
All four were shifted to PHC Larnoo for immediate medical treatment.
Police and local officials have taken cognizance of the incident. Further details are awaited.(GNS)
