Srinagar, 13 August: J&K BJP State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul participated in two grand Tiranga Rallies organized in Srinagar as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, reaffirming the people’s deep respect for the National Flag and their unwavering commitment to the unity and integrity of the nation.

The first Tiranga Rally commenced from The Grand Lalit Palace and concluded at Nishat, while the second rally was taken out from Polo View to the historic Lal Chowk. Both rallies witnessed enthusiastic participation from party leaders, youth activists and local citizens carrying the Tricolour with pride and raising patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national unity and enthusiasm.

J&K BJP Vice President Dr. Shahnaz Ganai, Secretaries Arif Raja and Mudasir Wani, District President Srinagar Adv. Sheikh Salman, J&K BJP Yuva Morcha Vice-President Khalid Baqaal, Yuva Morcha General Secretary Majid Khan, and Yuva Morcha Secretary Omer Jan, were among the prominent leaders who participated in the rallies.

Ashok Koul, while addressing on the occasion, said that the Tricolour is not merely a flag but a symbol of the sacrifices, aspirations and collective resolve of 140 crore Indians. He said that every Tiranga Rally reflects the people’s emotional bond with the nation and strengthens the spirit of nationalism, particularly among the younger generation.

Koul said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan has transformed into a nationwide people’s movement, inspiring citizens across the country to proudly hoist the National Flag and celebrate India’s unity in diversity. He added that the overwhelming response to the Tiranga Yatras in Kashmir demonstrates that patriotism is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and that the region is moving forward with confidence, peace and progress.

Koul urged every citizen to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by hoisting the National Flag at their homes and workplaces, stating that such collective participation further strengthens the ideals of national integration, constitutional values and pride in India’s rich democratic heritage.
