Srinagar, Jammu : The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is set to be celebrated with a specially curated exhibition organized by the Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K, from August 12 to August 15, 2026. This exhibition will take place at the Dogra Art Museum Archival Repository and the Art Gallery in Srinagar, focusing on the history and evolution of the Indian National Flag, known as the Tiranga. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the flag’s journey, including the adoption of the Ashoka Chakra and significant historical moments, such as its hoisting at Port Blair and its first raising at the Parliament. The exhibition will feature rare archival photographs and narratives that highlight the Tiranga’s presence in remarkable locations, including Mount Everest and Tololing Peak in Ladakh, showcasing its significance to national pride. Entry to the exhibition will be free, encouraging participation from all segments of society. Attendees can expect to gain insights into the Tiranga’s rich history and leave with a sense of pride and inspiration.
