Bandipora, Aug 13: Search operations continued for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday to trace and retrieve the body of a man who is suspected to have drowned in Nalla Madmati at Natipora in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The missing individual has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Gujjar (31), a resident of Yali Banakoot, Bandipora.
Officials said the operation is being carried out jointly by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Bandipora Police, with active assistance from local residents.
Despite sustained efforts over the past four days, the body had not been retrieved till the filing of this report. The search operation is continuing.
