District resonates with Spirit of Unity and Patriotism
Bandipora : As part of the Har GharTiranga Campaign-2026 and the commemoration of 150 years of VandeMataram, the District Administration Bandipora Wednesday organised a vibrant Tiranga Rally, which resonated across the district with the spirit of unity, patriotism and national pride.
The rally was jointly flagged off by MLA Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, and Senior Superintendent of Police Bandipora, Ajaz Ahmad Zargar. The rally commenced from the DC Office, Bandipora and culminated at SK Stadium, Bandipora.
The rally witnessed participation in large numbers, with students, youth, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA workers, officers and officials, and people from different sections of society joining the event with the National Flag. The streets came alive with the colours of the Tricolour as participants carried flags and banners, reflecting a strong sense of unity and national pride.
Selfie with Tiranga points were also set up at the DC Office premises and SK Stadium, where participants enthusiastically captured moments with the National Flag. The activity added to the festive and patriotic atmosphere and encouraged greater public participation in the campaign.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib congratulated the participants and thanked all stakeholders for their active contribution towards making the rally successful. She appreciated the enthusiasm shown by students and said that many students interacted with her and highlighted the significance of the Tricolour. She said that the rally was organised in honour of the National Flag and reflected the collective respect and pride associated with it.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated her message of “One Act in the Name of Nation”, calling upon people to choose one work and dedicate it to the nation, with the same care and commitment with which one works for their own home.
The rally concluded at SK Stadium, Bandipora, with the large gathering creating a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism, unity and public participation, further strengthening the spirit of the Har GharTiranga Campaign across the district.
