The event, held under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations”, aimed to highlight the shared hopes of youth across diverse backgrounds while underscoring the importance of their active participation in societal development.

Secretary DLSA Sumati Sharma shared her views on the significance of youth engagement in nation-building. She highlighted DLSA’s ongoing initiatives to extend free legal aid to marginalized sections and urged students to become ambassadors of legal awareness in their communities.

The resource person Panel Lawyer DLSA Adv. Sanjeet Kumar Bavouria emphasized the role of legal awareness in shaping responsible citizens and encouraged students to understand their rights and duties under the Indian Constitution. He interacted with the students, addressing their queries on legal aid, juvenile justice and educational rights.

Students from different classes actively participated in discussions, quizzes and interactive sessions, reflecting enthusiasm and curiosity about legal and civic issues. The school administration expressed gratitude to DLSA Udhampur for collaborating in this meaningful initiative, noting its alignment with the school’s mission of holistic development.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by students to uphold constitutional values and contribute positively to society.
