District Panel approves 6 CLU cases at Doda

Doda : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Krishan Lal Wednesday  chaired a meeting of the District-Level Committee on Change of Land Use (CLU) here in the Mini Meeting Hall, DC Office Complex to review and examine cases pertaining to change of land use.

In all 9 CLU cases were taken up for detailed consideration, out of which 06 cases were approved, subject to fulfilment of all prescribed conditions and compliance with the relevant rules and regulations.

The committee examined the cases in detail with emphasis on compliance with the provisions of the Land Revenue Acts, rules and other applicable statutory provisions.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for transparent, efficient and time-bound processing of CLU applications to facilitate planned development while preventing unauthorised conversion and misuse of land.

Officers from the Revenue Department, Engineering Wings and other line departments apprised the committee of the status of pending and approved applications and furnished their observations and inputs on the cases under consideration.

The meeting was attended by ACR, SE PWD (R&B) Circle, SE Jal Shakti, SE JPDCL, DFO, Chief Agriculture Officer, EE PMGSY, GM District Industries Centre, General Manager NHIDCL, Tehsildars, Executive Engineers and Revenue Officers/officials. ADC Bhaderwah, SDMs and other concerned officers also participated in the meeting virtually.
