Udhampur : As part of the ongoing Har GharTiranga campaign and the commemoration of 150 years of VandeMataram, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Tuesday flagged off a Tiranga Bike rally from DC Office Complex here.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from bikers, youth volunteers, government officials and members of civil society, who carried the National Flag with pride and patriotic fervour.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the primary objective of the awareness rally was to sensitise the public about the Har GharTiranga campaign and encourage greater participation.
Highlighting the significance of the campaign, the DC appealed to the people of the district to proudly hoist the National Flag at their homes and participate in the Har GharTiranga campaign.
