Awantipora : Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range Javaid Iqbal Mattoo on Monday chaired a joint security and law-and-order review meeting at the District Police Office, Awantipora.
The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Army (1st Sector RR, 42, 50, and 55 RR), CRPF, and local police. DIG SKR reviewed the prevailing security grid and instructed officers to enhance area domination, strengthen intelligence sharing, maintain operational alertness, and ensure close inter-agency coordination to safeguard public peace.
