Srinagar : Deputy Inspector General of Police Maqsood ul Zaman, IPS (Overall Supervisory Officer IDP 26) on Saturday chaired a meeting at APC Zewan to review arrangements for the ceremonial Independence Day Parade 2026. Subordinate supervisory officers and departmental nodal officers briefed the chair on status preparedness, followed by a threadbare review of inter-departmental coordination.
Speaking on the occasion the DIG directed officer to put in their best to ensure a smooth, colorful presentation, placing special emphasis on comfortable accommodation, timely refreshments, high standards of turnout, and precise drill synchronization among participating units.
