Baramulla : Police on Friday said that it has seized a sand extraction motor and two tippers used for illegal mining activities at Delina Ghat in Baramulla district.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that a sand extraction motor was seized at Delina Ghat, while two tippers carrying illegal sand and minerals without valid permits were intercepted and booked under the MMDR Act.
Authorities reiterated that strict enforcement actions will continue to safeguard natural resources across the district.
