Srinagar: A local labourer died after being found unconscious at his residence in the Hardushiva area of Sopore, north Kashmir, on Friday.
Reports said that labourer was immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, where attending doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. Authorities have deposited the body at the SDH Sopore mortuary for a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death. Police have formally initiated inquest proceedings and will hand the body over to the family once legal and procedural formalities are finalized.
