Anantnag : Police on Wednesday said that it has obtained a conviction against a hotel manager in Pahalgam for failing to comply with mandatory reporting regulations regarding foreign guests.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Police said that Court of the Additional Mobile Magistrate convicted the manager of Hotel Misty Mountain under Sections 8 & 23(b) of the Immigration & Foreigners Act, 2025 (FIR No. 18/2026). The accused had failed to upload the mandatory ‘Form C’ for two foreign nationals who stayed at the property in December. The court sentenced the manager to a fine of ₹50,000 along with one day of imprisonment.
