Srinagar : Congratulations are in order! Official records proudly announce that 98% of Jammu & Kashmir’s Smart City projects stand magnificently completed. To celebrate this milestone, nature kindly provides a complimentary aquatic theme park after just twenty minutes of light drizzle. In both Srinagar and Jammu, state-of-the-art boulevards transform seamlessly into scenic canals, offering residents the authentic Venetian gondola experience right at their doorsteps—minus the romance and plus a lot of muddy splashback.
Meanwhile, the ungrateful 80% living in new residential colonies continue to complain about minor details like non-existent drainage systems and unpaved, crater-filled roads. Local authorities, clearly prioritizing silence over noise pollution, have cleverly turned a deaf ear to their pleas. Who needs macadamized asphalt or functional storm drains when you can simply invest in a paddleboat? Rest assured, while basic infrastructure remains a distant dream, J&K’s transformation into the world’s first amphibious urban wonderland is undeniably proceeding right on schedule.
