DFCS&CA Jammu urges eligible beneficiaries to collect advance ration for 3 months

Jammu :  The Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (DFCS&CA) Jammu has informed the beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) and Non-Priority Household (NPHH), Prime Minister Food Supplementation (PMFSS) schemes that the advance distribution of three months (03) food grains/ration for the months of August, September and October 2026 has commenced through all Fair Price Shops (FPS) and Government Sale Depots (GSD) in the Jammu Division.

All eligible beneficiaries are requested to collect food-grains from their respective Fair Price Shops (FPS) as per the prescribed entitlement after due e-PoS authentication. Beneficiaries are advised to ensure that they receive the full entitled quota of food grains and obtain a transaction receipt from the Dealer. Beneficiaries are requested to collect their ration well before the closing date i.e. 31st August, 2026 to avoid any inconvenience.

In case of any short supply, overcharging, denial of ration, non-issuance of receipt or any other grievance, beneficiaries can contact: Toll-Free Helpline: 1800-180-7106/0191-2458455, WhatsApp Grievance (Jammu Division): 9419276384/9906197359 or the concerned Assistant Director/Tehsil Supply Officer.

The Directorate has appealed to all beneficiaries to cooperate in ensuring the smooth and timely completion of this special distribution drive.
