These landmark tournaments played a significant role in showcasing the region’s world-class golfing infrastructure, scenic beauty and organizational capabilities. Besides, it has given a major impetus to the growth of golf in Jammu and Kashmir and inspiring greater participation in the sports across the Union Territory.

The successful staging of yet another edition of the J&K Open in Srinagar reaffirms Jammu and Kashmir’s growing stature as a premier golfing destination. The tournament reflects the J&K government’s continued commitment to promote sports tourism and develop world-class sporting infrastructure. With successful editions now hosted in both Jammu and Srinagar, the J&K Open has evolved into a flagship sporting event that continues to enhance the Union Territory’s profile on the national golfing calendar.
