Veteran Trade Union Leader, Chief Manager Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat Accorded Warm Farewell

Srinagar :A warm and emotional farewell was accorded to Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, veteran trade union leader of AIJKBOA, Kashmir and veteran officer of Jammu & Kashmir Bank, on his retirement as Chief Manager after an illustrious and dedicated banking career.

The farewell function was jointly organized by AIJKBOA, Kashmir, the All India JK Bank Officers’ Federation (AIJKBOF), and the department. The event was attended by senior bank executives, office bearers of the officers’ associations, colleagues, staff members, and well-wishers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Zubair Mir, President, AIJKBOA, Kashmir, Mr. Jan Mohammad Sufi, General Secretary, and other speakers paid rich tributes to Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat’s outstanding contribution to the banking profession and the officers’ movement. They described him as a principled, dedicated, and respected trade union leader who consistently worked for the welfare of employees while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. They lauded his integrity, leadership, and commitment to the growth of Jammu & Kashmir Bank, wishing him a healthy, happy, and fulfilling retired life.

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat thanked the bank management, colleagues, customers, members of AIJKBOA, Kashmir, AIJKBOF, and all well-wishers for their affection, cooperation, and unwavering support throughout his career. He said that serving Jammu & Kashmir Bank and its customers had been a privilege and that he would always cherish the relationships and memories built over the years.

The function concluded with the presentation of mementos and bouquets, followed by warm interactions and best wishes for Mr. Bhat’s happy and healthy post-retirement life.
