Pulwama: Police on Saturday said that it has seized and a dumper for being involved in illegal mining activities in Pulwama
In a statement issued here on Saturday Poilce that that sleuths of police intercepted and seized a dumper (JK13G-5590) loaded with gravel and a JCB engaged in illegal mining during a checkpoint operation at Romshi Nallah. Both heavy vehicles were seized on the spot, and Case FIR No. 106/2026 under relevant provisions of law was registered at the local police station. In its statement Police appealed people report any unlawful extraction practices to the nearest station to help protect local environmental assets.
