Srinagar : Srinagar Police have cautioned the public against posting or circulating any content related to a recent incident at R.P. School involving a minor, warning that violators will face strict legal consequences.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, police said” credible information was received regarding individuals sharing and forwarding material related to the incident across various social media platforms and messaging applications.
Emphasizing that the victim is a minor Police said that revealing or circulating any details that could disclose the child’s identity is strictly prohibited under the law, appealing people therein to avoid spreading unverified or sensitive narratives, highlighting that such actions disrupt ongoing investigations and cause distress to the victim’s family.
