Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that it has attached a residential house valued at ₹18,76,665 in Kathohallan belonging to Nazir Ahmad Lone, son of Rishi Lone in Shopian district. The property was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal drug trade.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Police said that attachment proceedings were carried out in connection with FIR No. 27/2025 of Police Station Keller. The action was executed in the presence of a police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar, and Chowkidar to ensure complete legal compliance and transparency. Reaffirming its resolve to eradicate the drug menace by targeting offenders and their illicit financial assets, police appealed people to report any drug trafficking activities.
