Srinagar, July 27: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended greetings to all CRPF personnel and their families on the occasion of the Central Reserve Police Force Raising Day.
In a post on his official X handle, the LG said the Force has been at the forefront of safeguarding the nation’s internal security with exceptional courage, exemplary service and dedication.
“I salute their selfless service & sacrifices for the motherland,” he wrote.
Raised on July 27, 1950, the CRPF is the largest Central Armed Police Force in the country. It plays a key role in counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism, maintenance of law and order, and disaster response operations across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir.
