Kashmir Set To Host First International Film Festival: The curtain raiser for the first International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir (IFFJK) was held at the Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, senior officials and noted filmmakers including Muzaffar Ali and Imtiaz Ali attended the event. Scheduled from September 7 to 10, the festival has already received around 400 entries from over 25 countries.

LG Reviews Security, Amarnath Yatra Arrangements: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level security review meeting in Srinagar with senior officials from the Army, J&K Police, CAPFs and civil administration.
