Gwalior : Dr. Shahid Amin, an academician and a regular columnist of leading English Daily from Jammu & Kashmir, has been felicitated for his efforts in promoting Kashmiri culture through an innovative initiative at ITM Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
As an Associate Professor of Management and President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), he spearheaded a three-day Kashmiri Kehwa Stall during Aamotsav 2026. This initiative was designed not merely as a food stall but as a dynamic platform for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. The primary aim of the stall was to provide students and volunteers with hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations, including customer relationship management and financial handling, while also showcasing the authentic flavors and hospitality of Kashmir. Dr. Amin’s family contributed to the event by serving traditional Kashmiri Kehwa and engaging with visitors, which enhanced the cultural exchange aspect of the initiative. The event garnered significant interest from students, faculty, and dignitaries, allowing participants to gain practical insights into customer engagement and entrepreneurial decision-making. Dr. Amin emphasized that the initiative was not profit-driven but focused on promoting innovation and sharing the essence of Kashmiri culture. He expressed gratitude to the leadership of ITM Gwalior and acknowledged the support of various individuals involved in the project.
