Anantnag : Police on Tuesday said that it has apprehended a suspect wanted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) with the help of artificial intelligence in Langanbal Anantnag.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Police said that during routine checking, the Facial Recognition System (FRS) deployed along the Yatra route flagged an alert for Danish Amin Reshi, a resident of Veersaran. Verification revealed that Reshi was wanted in connection with FIR No. 24/2021 under the UAPA registered at Police Station Pahalgam. The accused was immediately taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
