Health Deptt intensifies response to diarrhoea cases in Breswana, preventive measures underway

Doda| July, 21:Following reports of a diarrhoea outbreak in Village Breswana, Panchayat Pershulla-B, the Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Vinod Sharma deputed a Rapid Response Team to the area to assess the situation, provide medical assistance and implement public health measures.

The team, supervised by Block Medical Officer Ghat Dr Abdul Gafoor and headed by Dr Hamid Parray, comprised Dr Touseef Aslam, Ashok Shan (MMPHW) and local health staff of AAM Sub Centre Breswana. It visited affected households and provided on-the-spot medical consultation and treatment.

The team distributed medicines, ORS packets, chlorine tablets and other essential drugs, conducted an awareness campaign on safe drinking water, hand hygiene, food safety, sanitation and early reporting of symptoms and initiated active surveillance to identify new cases, advising local health staff to maintain close monitoring.
