Srinagar: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan on Saturday.
During the day, a delegation led by Mehraj-u-Din Sheikh, District President of the Jammu and Kashmir Other Backward Classes Welfare Association (JKOBCWA), also met the Lieutenant Governor and projected various welfare issues concerning the sanitation workforce community.
Later, Anush Shahnaz Khan, Chairman of the Rise Up Youth Foundation, called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues related to youth welfare and public interest.
The meetings were held separately at Lok Bhavan in Srinagar, according to official press communiques.
