Poonch : A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under Mission YUVA was held Friday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma, to review the progress of the Mission in the district.
During the meeting, the committee approved 121 cases under Mission YUVA after detailed scrutiny, aimed at promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among the youth. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized timely processing of applications and directed all concerned departments to work in close coordination for effective implementation of the Mission.
Expressing concern over the pendency of cases at various bank branches, the DC instructed banks to expedite the sanctioning and disbursement of approved cases to ensure timely financial assistance to beneficiaries. He also directed JKNRLM officials to intensify awareness campaigns and increase applications from LakhpatiDidis under Mission YUVA.
The meeting was attended by officers of concerned departments, bank representatives, the Lead District Manager, JKNRLM officials and members of the District Level Implementation Committee.
