Two J&K Candidates Among Top 138 Scorers In NEET-UG 2026; Hadiya Nisar Ranks 99, Zaidan Wani 124

Srinagar, July 17: Two candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have secured places among the top 138 candidates in the country who scored 690 marks or above in the NEET-UG 2026 examination, according to the official list released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

As per the list, Hadiya Nisar from Jammu and Kashmir secured All India Rank (AIR) 99 with a percentile of 99.9930996, while Zaidan Wani secured AIR 124 with the same percentile.

The national topper is Aryan Gupta of Punjab, who secured AIR 1 with a percentile of 99.9999, followed by Panshul Bansal of Haryana at AIR 2 and Uplakshya Goyal of Rajasthan at AIR 3.

The official list comprises 138 candidates from across the country who obtained 690 or more marks, reflecting intense competition in this year’s medical entrance examination.

The inclusion of two students from Jammu and Kashmir in the prestigious list has been hailed as a proud achievement for the Union Territory, highlighting the growing academic excellence of its students in national-level competitive examinations.(GNS)
