Reasi : Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee for Mission YUVA to review implementation of the scheme and approve fresh loan applications of aspiring entrepreneurs.
196 cases verified by the Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) were presented before the committee and, after scrutiny, approved for financial assistance, capacity building and handholding support under Mission YUVA.
Reviewing progress of training batches under Mission YUVA, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers concerned to initiate fresh training batches at the earliest and intensify awareness campaigns under UdyamJagriti in all blocks and panchayats — particularly among SHG members — on the scheme’s subsidy benefits, and directed bank officials to fast-track sanctioning and disbursal processes, coordinate closely with Business Help Desks (BHDs) and properly inform beneficiaries of required documents to avoid delays.
Among those present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal, General Manager DIC, Assistant Director Employment, District Manager NRLM, Lead District Manager (LDM) and other officers concerned.
