Shopian Police Orders Rapid Disposal of Pending Cases in Key Crime Review Meeting

Srinagar : Police on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive crime review meeting under the directions of SSP Shopian.

Chaired by the DySP Headquarters, Shopian, the meeting was attended by the local Station House Officer (SHO) and all Investigating Officers (IOs) of Police Station Shopian. The session focused heavily on the status of pending investigations, execution of warrants, and ongoing crime prevention strategies.

The  primary focus of the meeting was the expeditious disposal of cases under investigation. Case-wise progress was reviewed, and Investigating Officers were directed to conclude investigations strictly on merit, in accordance with the evidence available, while ensuring fairness, transparency, and strict compliance with legal procedures.”

The DySP also urged officers to maintain a high level of professionalism, strengthen public outreach, and actively address public grievances to foster a more people-friendly policing environment.
