Jammu:The Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Wednesday reviewed security situation in the Basantgarh belt of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Northern Command in a post on X said, “Army Commander visited Basantgarh to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness.”
“Deliberations with commanders on ground focused on current security environment, measures undertaken to strengthen Vigilance and Operational Readiness,” it posted.
It further said that the Army Commander underscored the importance of sustained alertness and Synergy with all stakeholders for retaining the decisive edge over inimical elements.
“The visit reinforced the unwavering resolve and high morale of the troops serving with utmost professionalism and dedication,” said a post.
