Udhampur :Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Tuesday chaired a review meeting with officers of line departments and representatives of banking institutions to assess implementation and progress of credit-linked schemes in the agriculture and allied sectors.

The meeting reviewed the status of key schemes, including the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, JKCIP, PM-Kisan, KCC and Pradhan Mantri FasalBima Yojana. The Deputy Commissioner directed acceleration of implementation and effective execution of all ongoing schemes.

The DC directed departments concerned and banking institutions to strengthen coordination for seamless delivery of benefits to farmers, noting that inter-departmental collaboration is essential to improve agricultural productivity and promote sustainable growth.

The DC urged implementing agencies and banks to enhance awareness and outreach so that every eligible farmer and farming family is covered under these schemes, enabling access to timely financial assistance, insurance and other government benefits.
