Jammu : Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta on Monday chaired a review meeting to assess physical and financial progress of key developmental schemes being implemented across Jammu Division under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), JKCIP, CAPEX, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and NABARD-funded projects.

The Director reviewed physical achievements, financial utilisation, implementation status and district-wise progress of major developmental programmes, with special emphasis on Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY), Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM), Rainfed Area Development (RAD), Per Drop More Crop (PDMC), Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), National Food Security Mission–Food Grains Crops (NFSM-FGC), National Food Security Mission–Oilseeds (NFSM-OS), Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) and National Natural Farming Mission (NHNF). The meeting concluded with district-wise discussions on implementation challenges, following which the Director issued directions for expediting pending works and achieving targets for the current financial year.
