Srinagar| July, 10: Police on Friday executed a series of coordinated operations across Baramulla and Pulwama districts on Thursday. The sweeping crackdown targeted anti-national networks, narcotics cultivation, and illegal mining operations, resulting in widespread searches, seizures, and the destruction of contraband.
In a bid to dismantle potential terror ecosystems, police in Baramulla launched coordinated search operations across the jurisdictions of Kreeri, Boniyar, and Kamalkote. Conducted under the supervision of Executive Magistrates, the raids targeted the residences of JKNOP affiliates and their associates to intercept cross-border communications and prevent the revival of unlawful activities.
“Such lawful operations will continue to counter security threats and ensure a safe environment,” a police spokesperson stated, reiterating their commitment to maintaining peace and urging citizens to report any suspicious activity.
