Boy drowns in Kulgam’s Vishow River

Srinagar : A boy drowned in the Vishow River in the Hassanpora Bagh area of Kulgam district on Friday, officials said.
An official said that the boy accidentally slipped into the river and drowned. Locals retrieved him from the water and rushed him to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara.
He said doctors declared him brought dead at the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Hazim Showkat, son of Showkat Ahmad Ganie and a resident of Hassanpora Bagh, Kulgam.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident
