MLAs, Industry Representatives, Delegation Call on LG Sinha, Discuss Development, Industrial Growth

Srinagar: Several public representatives, industry leaders and a religious delegation called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday and discussed a range of developmental, industrial and public welfare issues concerning different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
MLA VijaypurChander Prakash Ganga met the Lieutenant Governor and raised various development issues related to Samba district, with particular emphasis on expediting ongoing developmental works in the Purmandal block.
MLA Basohli Thakur Darshan Kumar submitted a concept note proposing the establishment of an Indian School of Pahari Paintings at Basohli in Kathua district to promote and preserve the region’s rich artistic heritage.
Chairman of the Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) and President of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), Tarun Singla, discussed issues concerning the industrial sector and highlighted measures required to ensure sustainable industrial growth in the Union Territory.
A delegation from Frisal in Kulgam, led by former District Development Council member Anayat-Ullah Rather, also met the Lieutenant Governor and projected various development-related issues concerning the Frisal and Qaimoh blocks.
Later, Acharya Swami Jitendranath Maharaj, Peethadheesh of Nath Peeth, Devnath Math, called on the Lieutenant Governor. He was accompanied by Suresh Haware, Member of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, and members of the Devnath Math delegation.
