Srinagar, July 6 : Authorities on Monday said that no scheduled commercial flights are operating from Srinagar Airport today, as airlines are in the process of revising their schedules following the withdrawal of the proposed Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for Monday and Tuesday runway closures.
According to an official passenger advisory, the respective airlines have confirmed that there are no scheduled commercial flight operations from the airport on Monday.
The advisory stated that after the recent withdrawal of the proposed NOTAM, airlines are updating and restoring their flight schedules in line with the revised operational status of the airport.
“Flight operations for Monday and Tuesday are expected to resume once the revised schedules are finalized and published by the respective airlines,” the advisory said.
Passengers have been advised to verify the latest flight status directly with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport and to rely only on official sources for authentic information.
Authorities also sought the cooperation and patience of passengers during the transition period as airlines restore normal operations.
